Went to a drop in half hour express spin class today and it kicked my butt-
Erin pushed Hard, making us spin @105rpms. Usually I hover around a comfy 85rpms and increase resistance without increasing rpms. She made us do both. She’s also quite smiley and encouraging, And she was spinning with us so I pretty much owed her 100% effort. :] Proud to say I reached a personal high of 120rpms!
15minutes after the spin class was a yogalates one. I figured, what the heck, might as well stretch it out. I liked how this class made me acutely aware of my body’s strengths and weaknesses; through the series of poses I could narrow it down to specific muscle groups that cause me grief. Combining the yoga with pilates also added another level of challenge. I’m glad I went.
